Denise is a graduate of Walters High School and Southwestern Oklahoma State University with a BS in Education/Concentration in Music. She attended Graduate school at OU and SWOSU studying music. She is a National Board Certified teacher and holds certification in Early Childhood Education. She started playing the piano at age 2 and added many other instruments to her repertoire. Music and specifically praising the Lord through music has always been her passion.

 

She surrendered to the lord at age 8 at FBC Walters and has never looked back. After going on her first Mission trip several years ago, her life was changed forever with love for other people groups and she is deeply committed to spreading the gospel here and abroad. Two of her favorite verses are: Romans 10:15 "How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!" and Psalm 100:1-3 "Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth! Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into his presence with singing!"

Denise is married to a wonderful Christian man, Pete, who is a Youth Sunday School teacher. They have two grown children: Austin Tulloh and wife Anna, Caitlin Farris and husband Dell. Their family has grown to include two fabulous grandchildren: Caroline and Bridger Farris.
