Meet the Staff of FBC
Pastor
Dr. Jack M. Jacob
Jack is relatively new to our church. He, his wife Keyanne, and his daughter, Ryann, came to First Baptist Church of Walters in January of 2018. Jack went to high school in Cushing, Oklahoma before going to Central State University (now University of Central Oklahoma) in Edmond. He joined the US Navy and served from 1986 to 1997 achieving the rank of Chief Petty Officer (E-7). He graduated from Huron University in Sioux Falls, South Dakota with an Associate's Degree in Business Administration in 1994 and a Baccalaureate Degree in Applied Business Management in 1995. He graduated from Andersonville Theological Seminary with a Master's Degree in Ministry in 2000 and a Doctorate of Ministry Degree in 2001. He graduated from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2003 with a Master's of Divinity Degree with an emphasis in North American Church Planting. Jack has served Huron Baptist Church, Huron, South Dakota (2 years), Wanamaker Road Baptist Church, Topeka, Kansas (1 year), Seaman Baptist Church, Topeka, Kansas (7 years), First Southern Baptist Church, Liberal, Kansas (11 years) and is now in Walters.
Pastor Jack and Keyanne (pronouned like a key and ann) have been married since October of 1987. They have two children, Clint and Ryann, and had a daughter, Victoria, who passed away in 2019. Interesting note about Pastor Jack and Keyanne, they were saved on the same day in November of 1992, but not in the same service. Jack was in the service and Keyanne was in the nursery with the pastor's wife. Jack has authored one book, Followers of God or Followers of Men: Learning to Live for God in Difficult Times. Jack is an avid Oklahoma State fan. (Go Pokes!)

Administrative Assistant/Financial Secretary: Deborah Wall
Deborah grew up primarily in different parts of Texas. She graduated high school from Dilley, Texas and received an Associates Degree from Howard Payne University. Gary and Deborah have been married 32 years and have two children, Daniel (wife, Nicole) and Joshua (wife, Cassidy). They have one grandson, Owen who is 14 months. Deborah enjoys the blessing of family, serving at FBC Walters, watching basketball and the Dallas Cowboys, lol! She is not much of a movie goer, but favorite movie is probably "War Room." One of her favorite Bible verses (she has many), is Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him and He will make your paths straight."
